What is a Body Advocate?
A Body Advocate is someone who listens to and advocates for your body. This means interpreting chronic pain patterns and providing education about all the different fascinating facets of this complex "machine" that we call our bodies. Our bodies are more than a machine to get us through our daily lives. It is a complex organism that is interconnected on every level with our thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
I invite you to be curious about your body. Curiosity precedes knowledge, knowledge precedes awareness and awareness precedes change - in our attitudes, relationships with, and appreciation for the amazing complexity of our bodies and what they are capable of.
I do my advocating through teaching, bodywork, and personal coaching. I teach at yoga and massage schools, as well as yoga classes and one on one sessions personalized for your specific goals. You can find the complete list under Services and Classes.
