$100 for 90 minutes
Based upon the knowledge and experience of 17 years in bodywork therapies, and an additional 2+ years in Energy work modalities, Erin takes a unique approach to bodywork. Though very experienced in Injury Massage, Myofascial Techniques, Neuromuscular Therapies, and numerous other modalities, MetaMassage sessions focus on the deeper emotional 'scar tissue' and holding patterns living in our muscle memory. Basically, it is myofascial-energetic-emotional release. Understanding the science behind cell memory and emotional holding patterns in the body, in combination with strong intuitive gifts, are what makes this session effective on the deepest level. This bodywork requires active participation on the part of the client, with the understanding that true change and release can only come from within, and the desire and willingness to open up and let go is in their control.
Injury Rehabilitation Massage
$70 per hour
Utilizing Myofascial release combined with various deep tissue and stretching modalities, this type of bodywork is designed to help recover from physical injuries. Though primarily used on athletes for recovery, maintenance and injury prevention, it can be used by anyone to assist in their journey of recovery.
$115 for 90 minutes
Thai massage is often referred to as "passive yoga", and is wonderful for opening up and mobilizing the joints in the body. It is typically done on a mat on the ground, with the client fully dressed. Upon special request, it can be done on the table as well. It opens up the energy lines of the body to help fully release and open not just the muscles and joints, but also unhealthy energy holding patterns.
Because moms need massages (and rarely get them for themselves), these massages are discounted to help get those who need it on the table.
$60 for 1 Hour
Massage designed for expecting mothers, it is a gentler massage, focusing on relaxing the mother, increasing circulation and releiving pain in those common areas that every pregnant woman experiences.
$65 for 1 Hour
The type of massage in this session depends on the length of time the mother has had to recover from birth. Anywhere from the first week to years afterwords, the physical trauma of birth can affect our body's ability to fully function. The focus of this massage is to directly address each mother's personal physical experience and trauma from birth - whether it was c-section or natural, scar tissue is a reality of the recovery process. This can be deeply emotional, or simply physically relaxing. As each woman's journey of childbirth is different, so is her recovery process.

Getting a massage from Erin in the best gift you can give yourself. She is extraordinarily thorough in taking care of not only your muscles but the facial tissue as well. For being as small as she is, the power and strength she has, to get deep, are truly incredible, while at the same time being incredibly in-tune with your emotional needs that arise as your body talks to her throughout the massage and it will. You would be doing your physical, mental and emotional well being good by giving Erin a call."

"You are truly blessed with a gift of healing both mentally and physically. I have had many massages, but none compare. I have been a dancer/artist all my life and have put my body through the ringer. You were able to tune into what my body needed in that moment and bring to light some of the areas and issues I did not know existed. Not only did it feel amazing, I was left with a feeling of release in the body and clarity of the mind. Your work is definitely unique and I am so happy to are giving it a name. I am looking forward to my next session"
"What I loved most about your massage, besides of course that it was so deep and felt so good, was how intuitive you are and how able to give a voice to the body. You would deliver messages from various areas you were massaging and it was like an intimate conversation... we talk to and about our bodies (at least in our heads) often, but to have it talk back, through you, was a marvel. Thank you, Erin!"

"I am honored to write Erin Koenig a review. I have had hundreds of massages and she is the best massage therapist I have ever had! It was a very sad day when she moved out of CA. She is truly a gifted healer who I began seeing for neck and back pain but quickly learned about energy work when many emotions started releasing when she focused on certain areas of my body. She is gentle, intuitive, loving, genuine and smart. She told me my gallbladder was dead when she was working on my feet. Shortly after I had to have it out. She supported me when my sister passed away suddenly, who she also worked on, and I remember her just placing her hand on my heart when I was grieving and I felt so much comfort and I knew she just got it and I felt less alone. I would recommend anyone see Erin to experience a truly magnificent healing experience. I miss you girl but am glad others can be blessed by your touch"

Definition: Psycho-Myofascial Release, or energetic deep tissue, this bodywork goes deeper than the hands to release the root causes of the issues in our tissues. It is an intuitive, client-led type of bodywork that combines the knowledge of the muscles and connective tissue with extra focus on the chakras and psychological influences on deeper holding patterns in the body. There is a strong physiological component of understanding how cell memory and transference work in the body, especially in regards to the connective tissue system. Understanding the eastern teachings of the chakra system and Reiki, and combining it with the western teachings and knowledge of anatomy and physiology, this bodywork creates a bridge between the two worlds of thought to get a bigger picture and understanding of all the influences on the body. It is through this understanding that we can learn to listen better to our client’s bodies through our hands and intuition and provide a massage that accesses not only the fascia, but the deeper tissues and the psycho-emotional issues that reside there.
Goals of the class: To teach students all the relatable anatomy of common holding areas and the issues that reside there, physically, emotionally, and energetically. Students will learn the anatomy of the chakra system (including an overview of endocrine glands and body systems relating to each chakra); get a review of the muscles in the joints of the body that are common injury sites - both emotionally and physically; learn to clear and ground their own energy to be better conduits of intuition, as well as learn how to receive information from their client’s bodies; receive a Reiki 1 attunement; and practice of deep myofascial release techniques.
