MetaFascial Release NOK 1200 for 90 minutes NOK 1600 for 2 hours Based upon the knowledge and experience of 19 years in bodywork therapies, and an additional 2+ years in Energy work modalities, Erin takes a unique approach to bodywork. Using, Myofascial Techniques, Neuromuscular Therapies, and numerous other modalities, MetaFascial Release sessions focus on the deeper emotional 'scar tissue' and holding patterns living in our muscle memory. Basically, it is myofascial-energetic-emotional release. Understanding the science behind cell memory and emotional holding patterns in the body, in combination with strong intuitive gifts, are what makes this session effective on the deepest level. This bodywork requires active participation on the part of the client, with the understanding that true change and release can only come from within, and the desire and willingness to open up and let go is in their control. Injury Rehabilitation Massage NOK 1000 per hour Utilizing Myofascial release combined with various deep tissue and stretching modalities, this type of bodywork is designed to help recover from physical injuries. Though primarily used on athletes for recovery, maintenance and injury prevention, it can be used by anyone to assist in their journey of recovery. Chakra Awakening and Balancing with Reiki NOK 800 for 1 hour NOK 1000 for 90 minutes In this session, we will work to go deep within to help find and heal root causes of physical pain and emotional blockages by utilizing Reiki, stones, and crystals to help awaken and balance the 7 Chakras on the body. Every Chakra is related to an endocrine gland and governs physical aspects of the body. By balancing and clearing out some of the negative emotional holding patterns, you can change how you feel and function in your body. This session is typically done on a table with your clothes on. Thai Massage NOK 1200 for 90 minutes Thai massage is often referred to as "passive yoga", and is wonderful for opening up and mobilizing the joints in the body. It is typically done on a mat on the ground, with the client fully dressed. Upon special request, it can be done on the table as well. It opens up the energy lines of the body to help fully release and open not just the muscles and joints, but also unhealthy energy holding patterns. Prenatal Massage NOK 800 for 1 Hour Massage designed for expecting mothers, it is a gentler massage, focusing on relaxing the mother, increasing circulation and relieving pain in those common areas that every pregnant woman experiences. Because moms need massages (and rarely get them for themselves), these massages are discounted to help get those who need it on the table. Post-Partum Massage NOK 800 for 1 Hour The type of massage in this session depends on the length of time the mother has had to recover from birth. Anywhere from the first week to years afterwords, the physical trauma of birth can affect our body's ability to fully function. The focus of this massage is to directly address each mother's personal physical experience and trauma from birth - whether it was c-section or natural, scar tissue is a reality of the recovery process. This can be deeply emotional, or simply physically relaxing. As each woman's journey of childbirth is different, so is her recovery process. Because moms need massages (and rarely get them for themselves), these massages are discounted to help get those who need it on the table. Hot Stone Massage with Deep Energy Work NOK 900 per 60 min NOK 1100 per 90 min Using warm stones to deeply heat the muscles, this combination of Swedish massage and energy work is the ultimate relaxation massage. It is an intuitive, client-led type of bodywork that combines the knowledge of the muscles and connective tissue with extra focus on the chakras and psychological influences on deeper holding patterns in the body. There is a strong physiological component of understanding how cell memory and transference work in the body, especially in regards to the connective tissue system. Understanding the eastern teachings of the chakra system and Reiki, and combining it with the western teachings and knowledge of anatomy and physiology, this bodywork creates a bridge between the two worlds of thought to get a bigger picture and understanding of all the influences on the body. It is through this understanding that we can learn to listen better to our client’s bodies through our hands and intuition and provide a massage that accesses not only the fascia, but the deeper tissues and the psycho-emotional issues that reside there. Goals of the class: To teach students all the relatable anatomy of common holding areas and the issues that reside there, physically, emotionally, and energetically. Students will learn the anatomy of the chakra system (including an overview of endocrine glands and body systems relating to each chakra); get a review of the muscles in the joints of the body that are common injury sites - both emotionally and physically; learn to clear and ground their own energy to be better conduits of intuition, as well as learn how to receive information from their client’s bodies; receive a Reiki 1 attunement; and practice of deep and relaxing myofascial release techniques.
